Yakima Basin Integrated Plan Updates and Cle Elum Dam Fish Passage Project
Speakers: Urban Eberhart, Manager, Kittitas Reclamation District; and Richard Visser, Project Manager, United States Bureau of Reclamation
Mr. Eberhart (shown on the left above) and Mr. Visser (shown on the right above) will be speaking on the Yakima Basin Integrated Plan (YBIP) and the Cle Elum Fish Passage Project (Cle Elum Project). Mr. Eberhart, Manager, Kittitas Reclamation District, and YBIP workgroup member, will ground you in YBIP’s 7 Elements and workgroup, recent YRBWEP Phase III federal legislation, and summarize projects. Then, Mr. Visser will expand on the significant level of design, engineering and current construction of the Cle Elum Project. The Cle Elum Project will represent the first major reservoir in the Yakima Basin to be outfitted with fish passage.
