Wednesday, December 9th, 2020

6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

VIRTUAL MEETING!!!  You will receive a link to participate via Zoom when you register AND the day before the event.

Please join us for a networking event for those in or interested in the water resources field.  Students in all majors can learn about possible careers in this field, and early career professionals can enhance their connections and knowledge of possible career paths.  Experienced professionals can meet and provide guidance to the next generation of water resources professionals.  The event will consist of a panel discussion, followed by a speed-networking session where students and early career professionals can interact with and ask questions of a variety of experienced professionals.  Experienced professionals will include scientists, engineers, and legal and policy professionals working on water resources issues in the Pacific Northwest.  The event will be conducted as a Zoom meeting, with Zoom breakout groups used for speed-networking.  Please make sure that you have Zoom 5.3 (or a later version) installed.

We are currently looking for experienced professionals to be on the panel, anyone who is interested please email Tom FitzHugh.

This event is sponsored by the AWRA-WA Mentorship Program.  The goal of the AWRA-WA Mentorship program is to connect young professionals and students in the field of water resources with experienced professionals who share a similar specialty and are interested in building a mentoring relationship.

Event schedule:
6:30-7 pm: Panel discussion
7 - 8 pm: Speed-networking session
